Get to know me

Professionally, I started out as a humanitarian aid and documentary filmmaker for a production company based in Washington DC. This job took me around the world to Kenya where I lived with and documented the daily lives of the Maasai tribe and into the remote jungles of Cambodia to share the story of successful economic initiatives in communities devastated by the Khmer Rouge. Some other projects included interviewing the stories of refugees and going as an undercover video journalist to capture the aftermath of the Garissa University terror attack and Hong Kong Polytechnic University protests in 2019.

I had been doing weddings on the side for a number of years until I decided to make it a full time thing. I’ve shot over 100+ weddings and elopements across the US. Now, I live full time in a camper van I built names Ramses. I spend most of my time between Denver and the Rocky Mountains.

I love traveling to far away places and capturing what I see along the journey. I’m comfortable with the unknown and have always been a wild spirit at heart. My heart beats the most when I’m experiencing new places with the people I love. I love challenging myself with mountaineering, climbing, trail running, backpacking, or pretty much any outdoor activity. I’m a fan of intellectual conversations over some good red wine or a GF beer (if I can manage to find one) and have been known to strike up deep conversations with total strangers on trains, in bars, & bus stations. I have a lot of random hobbies I’ve picked up over the years because I love trying new things (even if I’m not that good at them!) I’m not a morning person but I will 100% wake up a 3 am and climb some mountain to get the perfect sunrise shot in your wedding dress if thats what you want to do! Just make sure theres coffee waiting for me back at the car. My friends would say I go hard after life and I encourage them to do the same.
